A Day in the Life of a Pre-PT Major
Being a health science major is exhausting! Honestly, just being in college is exhausting. My days are often busy, crazy, and filled with lots of coffee, which is also a very normal “college thing.”
This vlog is just a quick sneak peek into what an average Monday in my life looks like! I usually start off the day getting up around 7:45 a.m. or 8 a.m. Insert first cup of coffee here.
Next, I head over to my art class, a nice and relaxing class that I’m taking to fulfill one of my undergraduate requirements. I haven’t taken an art class since elementary school, and it’s been a ton of fun. This class is also a great way to take a little break from my crazy stress.
Usually after art, I head to one of my favorite places in Findlay – George House! Insert second cup of coffee here. If you’ve never been to George House, even if you don’t care for coffee, you have to get there. They have great tea and hot chocolate as well; there’s something for everyone! Even just the atmosphere of George House is one of my favorites. It’s a great place to do homework, catch up with friends, and of course, drink coffee. You definitely need to check it out next time you find yourself in Findlay.
I then leave George House to go to my second class of the day: anatomy. More than likely, you’ve probably heard some of the horror stories about anatomy. To be honest, the stories might not be far off. Anatomy is hard. It’s a 300-level biology class, it’s a ton of material, but it’s so interesting. It’s such amazing and cool information! You may almost always be studying anatomy, but it’s worth it. Just keep on pushing through, putting in time, working hard, and you’ll get through it!
