Is there a day that you can honestly say changed your life? A day that impacted your education, career and social life?
Mine was on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, at the inaugural Cleveland Browns Edge Summit at the University of Findlay. I was barely into sophomore year and had not really stepped outside my comfort zone. I attended the summit and decided to take advantage of the opportunity to network with members of the Cleveland Browns sales, partnerships, and fan experience departments. People talk about the power of networking, but I never knew that it would impact the rest of my life.

The highlight of my summer begins in Berea, as I take on the role of special events intern in a professional sports organization possessing one of the largest fan bases in U.S.! What an outstanding opportunity to get my first look at corporate experience.
A shot like this does not come without preparation. Along with other Findlay students, I’ve completed an intensive application and interview process since March. From writing cover letters, to long drives to Berea, to finding a place to live for two months, I can say all the time and effort was beyond worth it. My emotional rollercoaster has taken turns … Read More »
